Jeff Schwarz, owner of Direct Liquidation and Direct Auctions, has committed to a year-long initiative supporting the Memorial Ribbon Society of Canada. Throughout 2024, he will auction donated items with all proceeds benefiting the non-profit organization that assists families of fallen police and peace officers. The first auction begins Saturday, March 23, featuring donated items from Schwarz's partners including a Moes sectional sofa, a signed Gordie Howe Team Canada jersey, a Bradley Original Smoker, a 36-volt electric bike, and five comprehensive mini auto detailing packages valued at $1,500.
Schwarz emphasized the dual benefit for successful bidders, stating that participants can enjoy their purchases while knowing the funds support families and children of fallen law enforcement officers. Known as 'The Liquidator,' Schwarz also highlighted the entertainment value of online auctions, noting the engaging nature of live bidding events. With over 25 years in the buying and selling business, Schwarz operates on the principle of bringing buyers and sellers together with everyone winning. His television show 'The Liquidator' ran for five seasons across more than 160 countries, showcasing his expertise in procuring and selling quality goods.
The Memorial Ribbon Society auction is currently open for registration, allowing bidders to participate online or set maximum bids if unable to attend live events. Throughout the year, Direct Auctions will continue adding donated lots to raise funds for this worthy cause, providing ongoing support for families affected by the loss of police and peace officers in the line of duty.
